after prolonged abstinence, I've just started playing through FF7 on the PC again and come across some annoying bugs, the worst is this: The scenery freezes suddenly, only the eyes of the characters blink regularly and the music keeps running, otherwise it works nothing more. Always in the same place, I am then dependent on someone else playing my score until the scene is over and then sends it to me again. Of course, this is not a permanent solution … The first time this annoying phenomenon occurred in Cosmo Canyon (CD1), as Bugenhagen shows off his machine, right after a video sequence. Then I thought it was related to the video sequences, but now a second time, the error appears in the middle of a dialogue (the date in the Gold Saucer), not in the immediate vicinity of any video. I have played the game several times already and it has always worked perfectly. And since then I have not messed around with anything worth mentioning. Does anyone have any idea what this is and how to fix it …?
